Patzaikin jacket, trousers & sunglasses (all available on Molecule-F), Zara Tshirt, Camper shoes, Vintage bag (if you look carefuly, you will find many hearts on it). As I said, love actually is all around. |

Today I woke up with some words of wisdom rolling in my head, extracted from the “Love Actually” movie. I know it’s a film whose action is placed around Christmas, but, as you can imagine, even the title tells us that is something about love. And since today is exactly that day of the year that is dedicated to love in all ways, but mostly in very commercial ways, I sat on a bench and I realized that, in fact, love is with us all the time. It surrounds us, and is in all small and large gestures, but beautiful, we make every day. And not just today.
Exactly as the main character says, at the begining of “Love Actually”:
“Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion’s starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don’t see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it’s not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it’s always there – fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge – they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that “love actually is all around“.
If you haven’t seen the movie til now, you can watch the scene HERE.

O.
