HellO, WOrld!

Maybe it was the light. Or the silence from the gallery. A big hall, from Piata Mica, with white walls and complitely empty. And there, I think I’ve meet God for the first time.

I was a little kid and I don’t remember how the paintings looked like, or the name of the artist, because I was totally fascinated by the gallery itself. And I was happy. Later on, I started to look at the paintings hanging on the wall. And because there we’re no one in there, I’ve begun a strange dialogue with them. Without words, it was like a dialogue of the deaf. But I started to understand. I felt that I had a crush on art. Because art teached me that world is not only about black and white, or grey, it’s full with colors, and everyone see this world complitely different. But this world is the same, for everyone. Even if you love the surrealism, the impressionism, Da Vinci, Frida Kahlo, Grigorescu or Sabin Balasa. It’s love.

And that love is still here, after thousands of paintings seen by me, all over the world. It never fade. Thant’s why I’m so excited every year, when the White night of the art galleries is getting closer. And this year it will happen on April 24. Forty galleries and thirty-two alternative venues will open their gates on that night putting together for the public a dynamic program of exhibitions and events devoted to contemporary art. So, if you are looking for love, maybe you will find it then. You just have to find the right gallery. Starting from HERE.

 HellO, WOrld!

Iar in cautarea ei, puteti incepe chiar de AICI.
