HellO, WOrld!

Today I’m back to Cappadocia! If last time I was telling you HERE about my amazing experience in a hot air balloon, now I’m back to the ground. And I can tell you, it’s even more spectacular, because of the rock formations from Goreme region,  result of ancient volcanic eruptions, approximately 9 to 3 million years ago. The huge phallic formations may look like a homage to male fertility, but they have been naturally formed by erosion of the volcanic rock, and attracts thousands and thousands of tourists every year.

This strange place is known as Love Valley. Even if what you see is looking more like a bunch of co…cks. But you know, love and sex are related. Probably, that’s the reason why 1 million of tourists came and take pictures here last year, creating some kind of a hysteria online around the World, about Cappadocia. But even if you want to see the Love Valley from a hot air balloon in the morning, or from the ground, you should definitely pay a visit here.

Maybe you will say that it’s hard to get there. But it’s not, cause Cappadocia is at two hours flight distance from Bucharest. And if you will contact a travel agency or if you already have a good travel agent, they will take you there in a glimpse. And in case you wonder what else can you see in Cappadocia, believe me, you will want to spend more than a weekend there. I’m already planning a new trip to Goreme, to see the honeycomb of human-created caves with living quarters – places of worship, stables, and storehouses, dug into the soft stone by the people of the region. And maybe, to fly again with the hot air balloon. And maybe, to see the wild horses from up there. Because Cappadocia, or ‘Kapadokya’ in Turkish, translates as ‘land of the beautiful horses’ .

And watching wild beautiful horses from a hot air balloon, when the sun rise above the Love Valley – that’s priceless!

HellO, WOrld!
