April is for LOVE

Da, e luna iubirii, desi unii mai insista sa creada ca Februarie e cea dedicata indragostirii. Pai cum s-ar putea sa fie asa, cand romanii au inchinat Aprilie zeitei Venus si au stiut ei de ce, ca doar nu prea iti arde de iubire si imbratisari sub clar de luna cand afara sunt -20 de grade.
In schimb acum, totul e o poveste invesmantata in flori.

E cald, poti sa petreci ore intregi in parc cu fiinta iubita, sau, daca nu ai intalnit-o inca, ai toate sansele sa ti se intample, pentru ca lumina asta superba de aprilie ti-o va arata negresit. E aproape de tine, trebuie doar sa deschizi ochii mari. Si sa iesi din casa, evident. Eu asta am facut, si chiar daca nu mi-a iesit in cale jumatatea, macar m-am bucurat de soare si de frumusetea florilor ce au rasarit peste tot, mai mult sau mai putin artificial. Si tinand cont ca in cateva saptamani se va duce toata vraja asta, o sa profit cat mai mult de timpul meu liber, colindand parcurile. Cine stie, poate pana la urma zeita Venus se va induiosa si mi-l va trimite si pe Eros sa ma foloseasca de tinta pentru sagetile lui. Mai am la dispozitie 26 de zile. Asa ca nu-mi pierd speranta.

Yes, it’s the month of Love, even if some insist to believe that February is that month. How could you be so, when the Romans worshiped the goddess Venus in April and they knew why, because how can you share hugs and take long walks under the moonlight, when outside are -20 degrees?
Instead now, when everything is in bloom.
It’s warm, you can spend hours in the park with your beloved, or, if you haven’t met her yet, I’m sure that this gorgeous light of April will show you the way to her. It’s close to you , you just have to open your eyes wide. And to leave the house, obviously. That’s what I did, and even if I haven’t meet my behalf yet, at least I enjoyed the sun and the beauty of the flowers. And considering that in a few weeks, this beautiful spell will be over, I will spend the most of my free time in the parks. And who knows, maybe in one of those days, the goddess Venus will send his son Eros to use me as a target for his arrows of Love. There are still 26 days to go.
