Hello, Summer Kids!
Stiu ca azi e luni si nu prea aveti mare chef de munca. Asa ca ce ziceti de o plimbare pe malurile Tamisei? Pentru ca se pare a ca venit in sfarsit vara (thanks God!!), cheful meu de vacanta s-a triplat, asa ca am inceput sa rasfoiesc albumul cu fotografii din ultimul meu sejur la Londra. Asta pana ma hotarasc care va fi urmatoarea mea destinatie (chiar, daca stiti vreo oferta buna pentru luna august, catre orice insula din Mediterana, va rog sa-mi dati un semn). Dar pana o sa plec din nou in vacanta, va ofer un tur pe cheiurile Tamisei.

Ce putem admira aici? Eu am mers pe malul drept, plecand din City, asa ca am avut parte de un contrast puternic intre cladirile ultra moderne din cartierul financiar londonez si Turnul Londrei, care se zareste pe celalalt mal al fluviului. E o zona de promenada foarte indragita de londonezi, iar, daca este vreme buna, este locul ideal unde sa va relaxati dupa o zi de vizitat atractiile turistice din capitala UK. Insa daca avantul vostru turistic este inca activ, puteti sa vizitati Tower Bridge, mai ales ca la apus imaginile pe care le puteti admira de aici sunt senzationale. Trebuie doar sa stiti ca un tur complet dureaza o ora jumatate iar vizita se face contra cost.
Eu nu am avut rabdare sa mai urc atatea scari, asa ca am ales doar sa traversez podul, asta dupa ce am facut nenumarate fotografii cu Tower Bridge pe fundal, gandindu-ma ca nu se stie cand voi mai prinde o asa zi splendida la Londra. Si pentru ca eram foarte relaxat, am ales o tinuta M&S din colectia lor de vara, in tonuri pastel, potrivita cu starea mea de sprit. Bineinteles, completata de perechea mea preferata de tenisi Bensimon, ce ma insotesc in toate vacantele de vara, pentru ca sunt atat de purtabili, de usori si de comozi, incat nici nu-i simti, chiar daca mergi kilometri intregi.
Dupa nebunia de pe pod (sunt mii si mii de turisti care fac poze aici, la care se adauga si traficul destul de agitat), mi-am incheiat plimbarea pe malul stang, la o terasa cu bere rece si cu Harry Belafonte ce se auzea pe fundal, cantand despre a lui “Island in the Sun“. #holidaymood
Si cine nu isi doreste o vacanta inr-o insula insorita? Chiar daca ea se numeste Anglia? 🙂

Hello, Summer Kids!
Because today is Monday I now that you are not in a very good mood for work. So how about a walk on the banks of the Thames? Because it seems like summer finally came (thanks God!), my holiday mood tripled, so I started to flick through the photo album of my last stay in London. So, until I decide which will be my next destination (if you know a good offer for August, to any island in the Mediterranean, please give me a sign). I will give a tour of the Thames docks.
What we can see here? I went on the right bank, leaving the City, so you can see a very strong contrast between the ultra modern buildings from the financial district of London and the Tower of London, which you see on the other side of the river. It’s very popular promenade area of London, and, if the weather is good, is the ideal place to relax after a day of sightseeing attractions in the UK capital. If you want, and you are not tired enough, you can visit the Tower Bridge, but you must know know that a full tour lasts one hour and you have to pay for it.
I have not had the patience to climb so many stairs, so I chosed just to cross the bridge, that after I made countless photographs Tower Bridge in the background, thinking that nobody knows when I will get such a splendid day in London. And because I was so relaxed, I chosed to wear an Marks & Spencer total outfit, from their Summer collection, in pastel tones. Of course, completed with my favorite pair of Bensimon sneakers that accompanied me in all my summer vacations.
After the madness of the bridge (there are thousands and thousands of tourists taking pictures here, plus a pretty hectic traffic), I finished my walk on the left side, with a cold beer on a terrace were Harry Belafonte whas singing about his “Island in the Sun“. # holidaymood #perfectday
