HellO, WOrld!
I love Spain! Actually, I think Spain loves me more, especially after the awkward moment when the entire Royal Family saw me completely naked on a yacht in Palma. But that’s another story. Now I will tell you something about Madrid, the city of residence for the famous family which I already mentioned.
The city capital of Spain is famous for its nightlife and so, if you are looking for a holiday full of joy and friendly atmosphere, you should pick Madrid, definitely! And you will have a lot of options since you get here, so you should try at least one (or 10) of the hundreds of clubs available. Many clubs don’t operate a strict dress code, although you’d be wise to stay smart and skip on the trainers. Some of the bigger clubs have become famous across Europe, and offer 2 or even 3 dance floors, all playing different music, so you can be sure that you can find music to suit your tastes. Check Barco, El Sol or Ohm, for the ultimate parties in town! Acording to Time Out Madrid, these clubs are the bests in the city. Best DJ’s, besst cocktails, best crowd! Of course, the fact that this are some of the best-known nightclubs in Madrid means that you’ll often find queues at weekends. But be patient, the wait is worth it.
What can you do in Madrid, when you are not clubbing?
- visit the Royal Palace, one of the biggest in Europe. It’s open everyday, but could be clossed sometimes for official ceremonies. Entrance: 10 Euros.
- go to a flamenco show, of course.
- relax in El Retiro Park, it’s an amazing place
- shop til you drop! You will find all the brands you want on Grand Via or in the surroundings.
- Go to Puerta del Sol, to find the inner heart of Madrid.
- If you are a soccer fun, you can’t miss Santiago Bernabeu, the temple stadium of Real Madrid
- Visit Prado, one of the biggest art museum in the World. It’s the museum where you will find the masterpieces of spanish painters: Goya, El Greco, Velazquez, the famous “Garden of Earthly Delights” by Hieronimus Bosch, and “David with the head of Golliat” by Caravaggio.
- if you want to see all those, and many more, pick a touristic bus. There are two lines of Madrid Hop On And Off Buss, and the cost is 21 Euro for one day, and 25 Euros for two days. It’s the easiest way to see all the landmarks of Madrid, so I strongly recommend it. Especially after a hard clubbing night 🙂
- eat! check the famous tapas restaurants of Madrid in the downtown. But if you want to try the best of the Madrid’s cuisine, you should go in La Latina neighborhood, just south of Plaza Mayor, where you can find the best paellas in town.
Well, as you can see, there are a lot of things to do in Madrid. I’ve been there tree times already, and I still have the sensation that I should go back, because there are still so many things to see in Madrid. And of course, I miss the crazy parties! Jejejeje! And the best time to visit it, is right now, in spring, when the weather is absolutely perfect! You should go!

HOla, WOrld!
Ce poti face in Madrid cand nu petreci in club?
Intrarea costa 10 Euro
- obligatoriu, un show de flamenco
- relaxati-va in parcul Retiro, e un loc minunat
- cumparaturi!
